THE BOOK BINDER
He folds, arranges and stitches each printed sheet patiently together with a needle and strong linen thread. Slowly, he forms the spine of the book, shaping it perfectly with care. After cutting the wooden cover in the right size, he folds it in leather and stamps it with gold leaf. With a colorful headband he finishes his masterpiece, and carries it to his apartment on the first floor.
THE PROOF READER
With great importance he takes the manuscript to his apartment on the second floor. As he nestles himself in the corner of the couch by the window, he overlooks the old market square and its vibrant merchants. His favorite spot to start correcting a new proof. Word by word, line by line, he corrects misspellings, punctuation, and errors, while making notes with his quill.
THE PRINTING PRESS
In a sunlit corner on the third floor, the air is filled with the familiar smell of ink and the rhythmic clatter of the printing press. Here, amidst shelves lined with stacks of fresh paper, the printer crafts each page with precision. As the press wheels turn, the pages capture stories waiting to be told.
