Even though our check-ins are with codelocks, information is sent automatically and guest contact is by phone and email, that doesn't mean we don't have a very dedicated host during your stay! Besides the fact that she is the co-founder of SHWAY (how engaged can a host be?), she has a clear vision of how a stay should be: well communicated, smoothly checked-in, clean and spotless, nicely facilitated and fully informed about the best spots and go to's of the city!
She wants you to feel like you are staying with a friend, but with the service of a hotel. Every detail is taken care of to give you a well organized city- or business trip in Antwerp and she is 24/7 available for questions and help during your #stayatshway.

Her name is Liselore, 31 years old and with years of experience in the hospitality world, she started SHWAY in 2019 with business partner Martin Groenendijk. She runs the show from a cargo bike, can tell you all ins and outs about Antwerp and has a very hands-on approach to everything.

Staying at SHWAY is more than just spending a night. From the first email you receive to your last second strolling around in Antwerp, we do everything to make your trip as comfortable as possible.
Next to a boxspring bed and a roof over your head, we picked the best Egyptian Cotton sheets for you to rest in, luxurious products to treat yourself with, colorful and warm interior design to make you feel welcome and a custom made city guide so you can explore Antwerp like a true local. Even on Instagram we keep you posted on the new and trending spots in and around your new favorite city.
Some would say we offer you a full Antwerp experience, we'd rather say we offer you the SHWAY experience!
INTERIOR DESIGN
You probably already noticed that we love interior and the design of our residences is not just a colorful wall and some nice decoration. Our interior makes the experience unique and tells the story in every building. The woman behind the interior is Mariken Wiegerinck from Stekkie Amsterdam; together with Liselore she hops through every SHWAY building and creates the best interior composition for short-stay residences.

WE'RE ALL GREEN
ON THE INSIDE
We are reminding ourselves on a daily basis that our planet is very beautiful, not just the city of Antwerp. Traveling has become an important part of our lives, so it's even more important that all travel businesses work as sustainable as possible. We want to share with you why we make certain choices and how we run this business as green as we can.
Transport
All transportation to supply our residences, happens on an electric cargo bike. 365 days a year, in summer, spring, fall and winter, our Triobike Boxter never lets us down.
Cleaning
Being the most important part of our business - not only for guests, but also for our interior - we clean as green as we can. With the products of GreenSpeed we use ecological detergents for different surfaces and refill the recycled bottles.
Toiletpaper
We chose the toiletpaper of The Good Roll because it's 100% recycled, they use 50% of their profit to construct toilets in Africa and they provide work for people with physical, mental or psychological disability and people who just have had problems on the road we call life.
Amenities
Washing your hands, body and hair at SHWAY is paraben free, conduct zero animal studies and is packed in recycled refill bottles by Rituals. Did you know Rituals support the Tiny Miracles Foundation in India to pay for doctors, teachers, schools, training & education in the slums of Mumbai?
Laundry
We chose Blycolin as our partner for sustainable linen and laundry management.
